This is the case of Rebecca Kane as well, our Chief Commercial Officer.

About Rebecca

Rebecca is a South African raised in Scots and has worked for 12 years in London in the digital and technology industry. Then she moved to the Middle East and had some beautiful projects here that drew our attention to her work. Before joining our ranks and becoming the CCO at Traffic, she used to be the Managing Director at Brilliant Basics Dubai.

Rebecca’s background is as impressive as she is when you meet her. She has studied Digital Marketing and Communication in London, is a trained Agile coach, presented at Imperial College about Strategy and Leadership and owns a Prince 2 Certificate.

She was Director of Programmes at Huge London, Programme Director at DigitasLBi London, Group Project Director at Future Platforms and Digital Production Director at iTV Online and has held a strategic role on a variety of projects with budgets ranging from AED3million to AED57million for brands such as Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, National Bank of Abu Dhabi, TED.com, Incisive Media, Virgin Atlantic Airways, AstraZeneca, Honda, Hublot Watches, Nike, Sky, ESPN, Gucci, MoneySuperMarket.com, Lloyds Banking Group, De Vere Hotels, Domino’s Pizza and many others across a variety of sectors.

Besides her impressive CV, Rebecca is also a fascinating person, with a great vision fuelled by her passion for the industry. She is somebody who inspires people and brings out the best in them simply by believing in their power. One of the reasons she joined Traffic is that she wanted to exploit the local talent and potential of people and help build a digital agency that is able not only to compete with the European standards but also to surpass them and set a benchmark in the industry.

When asked about her role at Traffic, Rebecca answered that her main purpose is to inspire growth and evolution: “I want to make sure we deliver the best work possible for the region best clients. I am here to help create a new set of services, offerings, teams, ways of working and client set that propels Traffic into a level playing field with the international agencies like the ones that I used to work for.

Her key trade secrets are that she is highly focused on what she does, firmly believes that the biggest ideas usually come from hard work during iterative design and development and understands the importance of teamwork and talent. As she puts it, her goal is to assemble an unprecedented level of hands-on talent under one roof – Traffic’s roof.

“My ambition at Traffic is to help develop a company that delivers amazing products and services that make life better for users and a measurable difference to our customers”, says Rebecca.
