Design related questions

As part of the production process can you take care of web design for us?
Certainly, we can offer this as part of the overall production process or we can just take care of the technical side for you. If you choose to use our designers you will be using some of the most competent and quality driven designers in the world.

Can you work with web page designs we provide you?
Of course, if you have in-house designers or you know web/mobile interface designers we're more than happy if you choose them to make the designs for the interface of your website. We strongly advise you to ensure that the web designer you select is fully competent in producing web/mobile page designs and has extensive experience in this field. There has been cases where we have been given designs so awful we have declined the projects.

If you insist on providing web or mobile page designs we require the artwork in a layered PSD or layered PNG file.

Do you hold creative copyright over the design work?
No you do. Weather we make it for you or you provide it to us.

What is the turn around time on the average web site design?
This can vary slightly depending on how large your website is and also the concept you would like to drive the artwork. Turn around time for a web theme design can take anywhere between 2 days to 1.5 weeks.

What material do you need from us to create the perfect web page design?
Again this varies from client to client however it would be great if you could let us know the over all style or trend by providing previous marketing collateral you may have had produced (brochures, Business cards etc...), brand guideline documents, concept story boards or links to other websites you like the look and feel of.

Can I supply branding guideline documents?
Of course send them over.

Technical related questions

Do you provide flash production?
Yes we provide animation and interactive services should you so require them. We can work from concept to final production, our animation is flawless and our interactive skills are vast.

What programming languages do you work with?
Well, what programming languages don't we work with would probably be more easier to answer. We favour ASP.NET as a core programming language however we don't mind using PHP and other popular languages. As for the others... well there are too many to mention here... but we work with them all.

Do I need hosting?
Every web or mobile solution we develop for you will need to sit somewhere. If you or your client need hosting we can certainly recommend good hosting solutions that will work well for you at cost effective prices. We do not provide web or mobile hosting facilities in house for our outsourcing partners and these charges should be deemed extra on the quote we provide you as hosting along with domain name purchase is generally done through a third party.

Where can I get a domain name?
There are many great places to purchase domain names on the internet (just google 'purchase a domain name'). A .com, .net, .biz or .org suffix can be bought for as little as 10$ per year. Other domain name suffixes like .co.uk, .ru or .ae can be slightly more expensive dependent on various factors particular to that country.

Can anyone use the outsourcing services you offer?
We do have qualification criteria and prefer to work with companies over a long term period where a good working relationship can be established. We do not offer outsourcing solutions for 'one off' projects. Our minimum criteria is that you should be a fully registered business within your location, have been in business for a period of no less than two years, prospectively be able to run no less than 500,000 /AED worth of business through our company per year. If you can fulfill these basic criteria then we are most happy to work with you.

What is the payment plan?
Our payment plans are quite simple and we offer two forms. The first one for project based work is 50% payment of the total invoice paid up front to initiate the project, and the final 50% of the invoice paid in full before work is released to your hosting server. The second payment option is on an agreed monthly retainer basis for large scale work which by nature extends over long periods of time (usually 2 months upwards).

Who owns the work once finished?
You do.

Are there any penalties I can claim if you do not deliver work on time?
Because of the complex nature of the work involved we do not work under penalty clauses if work is delayed. We work solely to build a good relationship with our clients and a great reputation for ourselves in our industry, a big part of fulfilling these two important criteria for us is ensuring all work requested of us is delivered on time every time.

Can we take all work done so far to another company to complete if we are not satisfied with anything?
Yes, you are free to take all work developed so far to another company for completion. However you will be charged on production up to the date of file hand over. And will have to pay for this time in full before any work is handed over to your control.

Do you provide any cover or support after the project is finished?
All projects we complete for you come complete with 45 days of free support and issue/bug resolving which starts from the day your project is placed live. From the day your project is placed live you have 90 days warranty on any serious fault that may occur.

If I want to increase the scope of deliverables for the project in the middle of production what would happen?
We don't mind you doing this as this is quite common. If you change the scope and the deliverables of the project to be different than previously agreed. A new cost quotation and timeline adjustment will be made which you will have to agree to before we commence.
