Company Overview

Better Homes (bhomes.com) is UAE's top property company and has been leading the real estate revolution in Dubai and across UAE, and lately the world, for over two decades. Established in 1986, the company is now a household name in the world's major property markets. Better Homes offers a diverse range of property services, such as, Residential and Commercial Sales and Leasing, Short Stays, Property Management, and Project Sales and Marketing across the Middle East and the world.

The Challenge

Bhomes.com was to become one of Traffic's largest and most challenging projects. The first time bhomes.com contacted Traffic for optimization, the client concentrated on the property market of Dubai and UAE, the place of its origin. After years of market leadership in UAE, the company expanded its global operations and soon a franchise of Better Homes was launched in India with its dedicated website bhomes.com/india. Subsequently, the client launched bhomes.com/international to accommodate its expanding global operations. The property world was undergoing rapid developments, so was Better Homes. Feeling the need for a place on the web to keep the world up with the latest developments within the company and the entire real estate world, the client launched its news site bhomesnews.com.

After bhomes.com, all its three child projects also headed their way to Traffic for optimization. All these projects were highly challenging as they belonged to a real estate industry in which the competition was fierce.

Bhomes.com

Better Homes' first project bhomes.com came to Traffic in mid 2006. The site was not SEO friendly and the traffic was as low as 150 visits per day. Bhomes.com dealt with purchase, sale and rental of all types of residential and commercial properties in Dubai and UAE, but had very poor search rankings for all major industry keywords. The optimization of the site was a big challenge because the competition on most of the keywords related to Dubai property was extremely cutthroat.

Bhomes.com/india

In June 2007 came Better Homes' second project bhomes.com/india. The site was dealing with Indian property of all sorts with a special focus on Mumbai. As the site was newly launched, Traffic had to work on its optimization from scratch. The traffic was zero, so were the site's search rankings on all major search engines. The keywords on which the site was to be optimised were also highly competitive and posed a real challenge.

Bhomes.com/international

The next project from Better Homes to add to Traffic's clients list was Bhomes.com/international which came in Sep 2008. Dealing with property in major international locations, the site had the potential to dominate the online as well as the real property worlds. As the site was new, traffic and search rankings were as low as they could be and Traffic had to raise it from ground zero. Keywords here too had fierce industry competition.

Bhomesnews.com

August 2008 brought an all new project from Better Homes i.e. bhomesnews.com. The contents of the site were to be news and articles about the latest developments within Better Homes and around the real estate world. This project, like the previous ones, was also to be started from scratch and traffic and search rankings were to be raised from ground zero. Industry-specific keywords for this site were as competitive as the ones for the previous three projects of Better Homes.

The Goals

Traffic's goal for all four Better Homes' projects has been twofold: to increase the sites' traffic to the optimum level and to improve their rankings for all possible industry specific keywords so that they appear in the top three results on major search engines. The services Better Homes offered as a whole encompassed each and every aspect of the real estate industry. Effective search engine optimization could help the company capture the global market, a challenge that Traffic embraced with a smile.

Bhomes.com/international

Results started showing up after 2 months of the launch of the SEO campaign for bhomes.com/international. Traffic's campaign for the project started in Sep 2008 and the site's traffic has now reached from zero to average 500 visits per day. Rankings on main keywords related to international property have also remarkably improved.

One additional service added to the site's campaign was PPC marketing. For bhomes.com/international, Traffic has run several PPC campaigns for UK, USA, and UAE sporadically which have resulted in an incredible boom in traffic and sales. Over 50% of the site's total traffic is search engine generated and includes both organic and PPC results.

Bhomes.com/india & Bhomesnews.com

Traffic's bespoke campaigns for bhomes.com/india and bhomesnews.com also started bearing fruits within months of their launch.

Traffic launched its SEO campaign for bhomes.com/india in mid 2007. The campaign raised the site's traffic from zero to 500 visits per day and 65 % of the total traffic is generated via search engines. Bhomes.com/india now tops the search results for major market keywords such as India property, India real estate, Mumbai property, Mumbai real estate etc.

Campaign on bhomesnews.com started in Jul 2008. As a new site, it also had zero traffic and very low rankings. Today bhomesnews.com has over 1500 visitors per day and dominates search rankings on major industry specific keywords such as Dubai property news, Dubai real estate news etc.
