Client
Being a well-recognized and established company, the principle aim of Western Auto's SEO was to generate more leads and enquiries through their online presence. Traffic Online was tasked to help Western Auto enhance market penetration in Dubai, and augment market development into new territories and regions.
The Challenge
Western Autos came to Traffic Online on April 1st, 2010. Some of the principle SEO challenges faced by Traffic were:
- Divergent SEO goals for the Western Auto website- Increased "Market Penetration" in Dubai; "Market Development" to new territories and regions.
- Challenges associated with regional language keywords
- Issues with prompt page optimization
- Poor site ranking. The keyword ranking situation for some of the most important keywords before the Traffic's takeover was:

The Goals
The Strategy
Seeing the dissimilar nature of our goals, we decided to conduct optimization in two phases.
- Phase I: Dubai SEO
- Phase II: Regional SEO
Phase I - Dubai SEO
For the first month, we focused our attention on indentifying SEO loopholes in the Western Autos website. During this phase our SEO team scrutinized the Western Auto website, and fine-tuned the same for SEO compatibility, friendliness, and other optimization items. It was also during this phase that we developed customized strategies in conjunction with the client to help the website meet SEO targets for Dubai.
Phase II - Regional SEO
After fortifying the site's position in Dubai, our SEO focus moved to assist Western Auto's expansion into new emerging territories and countries.
This was an extremely grueling phase of the campaign, involving exhaustive research and keyword analysis for no less than 28 individual countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Sudan, Angola, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan Russia and many, many more.
Traffic Online aided Western Auto to develop bespoke marketing strategies for each one of the 28 territories/countries, and thus provided the client with appropriate/reliable research to help with the overall marketing effort.
The Accomplishments
Within 30 days of project initiation, the Western Auto website started showing progress in Dubai Google rankings. Today the site ranks on top of Google search results for auto keywords in UAE and the target countries. The latest ranking for some of the most competitive keywords is as under:

The above image shows organic growth on the Western Auto website (From April 2010, to February 2011). Without revealing too much, we can say that we improved Western Auto's website turn over by almost 250% (within one year), and helped the site attain unassailable position in Google ranking for all competitive industry keyword both locally and internationally.
