Challenge
It didn't take Masterkey long to realize that it was the site's design that was the biggest hurdle in the company's growth. Despite being the sole real estate management software provider in the whole of Dubai, UAE, and one of the very few across the globe, Masterkey's business still didn't boost as it should have considering the property boom throughout the world. The most obvious reason for the impasse was the client's website design which they felt was not up to the mark and didn't promote a holistic company brand and identity.
Technically too, the site was not fitting to the client's needs as it sported many different templates and was very hard to update using a content management system. The client wanted a quick and effective resolution to all these issues.

Goals
Traffic's goal in Masterkey's redesign project was first to create an appealing design for the client site that truly reflected the client's business with a corporate touch. Secondly, the site was to be perfected technically so as to make the information flow seamless and also to make the integration of a web content management system possible. And more importantly, the redesign was aimed at attracting more quality traffic which is a great contributor to the success of any online business.

Strategy
Like all projects, Traffic's market research preceded the redesign commencement. All possible resources were used to round up information about Masterkey's product market, and latest demand and supply trends. The UAE's real estate market was thoroughly studied to understand the level of demand for Masterkey's real estate software. Other world markets were also studied for the same reason as Masterkey's long-term plans included expansion into the global market. A comprehensive online research compounded the study and helped Traffic to get the hang of the most current industry design trends.
The research data became the founding stone for the client's site redesign project. Website taxonomy took a new shape and products and services were made more prominent on the site. The new design incorporated enhanced calls to action inspiring the site user to inquire and know better about and the products and become a client. Solutions for developers, brokers, and property managers were offered on the site's forefront. Masterkey's three major products, i.e. Professional, Premium and Masterplan were presented as the second most important feature of the new design. Masterkey news highlights were the next to occupy a prominent space on the site's home page followed by Masterkey's client list running in a flash panel. To make the site more dynamic, user-friendly and interactive, product demo videos were added to give the clients a better understandings of all products.New Icons
To meet the client's regular content update needs, Traffic equipped its robust web content management system to the site making content upgrades extremely simple that the client could himself perform the changes without seeking technical help. Masterkey's own CRM was also integrated to the site for meeting the client's communication needs for customer support. The site's interactivity was enhanced through the addition of a blog that allows the users to be a part of the happenings. The redesign was completely built on the latest technologies as HTML, CSS, .NET, SQL Server and special care was taken to ensure that all the design and development procedures meet all Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and W3C standards.

The redesigned site turned out to be exactly up to the mark. The new design was industry leading, beautiful and compact. Traffic's designers placed the site content where it should actually be and made the interface extremely user-friendly. The site's ability to crawl better on search engines was also enhanced through an SEO-friendly design layout and proper use of content formats. The interactivity features such as blog and videos really added the site's appeal to the users as was the redesign project's goal. The placement of Masterkey's special offers in a prominent space on the right panel also added to the site's business promoting and lead generating capabilities. Today, the redesigned Masterkey website is on the road to its coveted success and as Traffic sees it, the client will soon capture its potential markets.
