Traffic help Sorouh Real Estate bag the Construction & Real Estate Deployment of the Year Award, at the prestigious Computer News Middle East (CNME) ICT Achievement Awards 2011.
The ICT Achievement Awards by Computer News Middle East (CNME), the premier ‘technology in business’ magazine of the Middle East, are the most celebrated IT awards of the region. The awards honour the achievements of the local IT industry, specially the accomplishments of trail-blazers who have used their resources effectively to make good on every enterprise opportunity.
This year it was Sorouh’s turn to shine. The company won the CNME “Construction & Real Estate Deployment of the Year Award 2011” for its groundbreaking customer support portal – a portal designed and developed by Traffic Online JLT.
Eulogizing Sorouh's success, Sathya Mithra Ashok, a seasoned columnist at CNME wrote: “The winning organisation [Sorouh] has implemented a new portal for the company, choosing an open source and .Net architecture. Today, Google announced the launch of the much anticipated Google+ Pages – heralding the social network’s entry into arena of online marketing and promotion.
“
We want to make sure you can build relationships with all the things you care about”, exclaimed Vic Gundotra, Google’s Senior Vice President of Engineering
“from local businesses to global brands—so today we’re rolling out Google+ Pages worldwide.”
According to the Google
blog the Google+ Pages will help businesses reach out and connect with their customers and fans in a much more interactive and responsive manner. The Pages will allow fans and customers to recommend brands and businesses with the +1 feature, and with ease of access through Internet searches, and direct connect will enable brands and businesses to market their products/services in a much more proficient manner.
