Recently, Microsoft
conducted a stunning exhibition of its latest IE9 browser for the Windows Phone
7 mobile OS. The idea behind the exhibition was simply: showcase how well IE9
browser equipped WP7 smart-phone processes HTML5 in contrast to other mobile operating
systems.

For the demonstration,
Joe Belfiore, Director of the Windows Phone program, used a popular speed benchmarking
website. The website not only cataloged speed but also provided frame rate, or
Frames per Second (FPS) details to its users.
