Today, Google announced the launch of the much anticipated Google+ Pages – heralding the social network’s entry into arena of online marketing and promotion.

We want to make sure you can build relationships with all the things you care about”, exclaimed Vic Gundotra, Google’s Senior Vice President of Engineering
“from local businesses to global brands—so today we’re rolling out Google+ Pages worldwide.”
According to the Google
blog the Google+ Pages will help businesses reach out and connect with their customers and fans in a much more interactive and responsive manner. The Pages will allow fans and customers to recommend brands and businesses with the +1 feature, and with ease of access through Internet searches, and direct connect will enable brands and businesses to market their products/services in a much more proficient manner.

and you'll soon find the super fans and loyal customers that want to say hello.”
It will be interesting to keep an eye on Google+; already the SEO community is abuzz with expected rewards of using the new feature.
