If you hadn’t noticed (in which case we do ask where have you been the last few months?) the Dubai Polo Gold Cup has kicked off as of the 5th of this month and lasts up until the 12th of March 2008. This is an inaugural event taking place in Dubai at the Arabian Ranches Polo Field that Traffic has been involved in since day one of conception. Traffic has formed part of a select team put together by the event’s organizers to spearhead an awareness drive within the GCC and internationally aimed at generating coverage and increasing visitor numbers on the days.
Traffic’s contributions to the Dubai Polo Gold Cup event have been rather large… from designing the event logo, which now features on all promotional collateral, to forming the brand look and feel you now see on the website www.dubaipologoldcup.com (which incidentally was also constructed by the team at Traffic).
Part of the project also centered around Social Media Optimization through popular channels such as Facebook and Twitter. These optimization campaigns took place over a four-month period and generated exceptional results for the client.
The finals take place this Friday on the 12th and the UAE teams are already looking like hot favorites, there is however strong competition in the form of the English and Saudi teams, so it could still go anyway.
