Traffic has been providing SMO services to Iconic Store, the Landmark Group’s debut retailing project in Dubai, in partnership with Mediaedge (the agency that sub-contracted us the job). The results have been rewarding.
The task was simple but challenging. The campaign was split into two parts i.e. pre-launch and post-launch work. In pre-launch work, Traffic was to create an online ballyhoo about the upcoming launch of the store. We optimized various social media platforms to this end namely Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and relevant regional forums. It turned out to be a big success as the launching event was very well received and scores of people gathered to join the launch. The post-launch work consists of an extension to the similar work on different social media platforms. The goal now is to increase Iconic’s brand awareness online especially within the relevant circles via social media. We’re utilizing Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and regional community forums for Iconic’s brand promotion among the targeted communities.
Iconic is dubbed as a trailblazing retailing concept and a first of its kind fashion and lifestyle solution in the Middle East. These claims are well supported by over 250 international fashion brands that Iconic offers under one roof in addition to the on-site spa, Soho market and food options. So all we needed to use for Iconic’s online brand promotion in our SMO project was just pure facts about the store.
