ACCOUNT MANAGER

INTRODUCTION

Traffic is seeking a skilled Account Manager to support the Social Media & Content team with client servicing and production for both retained and project work coming through this extremely busy department. The client servicing and project management role will focus predominantly on these core areas:

  • Client Servicing for retained Social Media Accounts – 50%
  • Content Project Management Accounts – 30%
  • Production management for social and content – 20%
This is a full time role working mainly with some of the world's leading brands across FMCGs, and other industry Corporates, so immediacy is vital with regular after-hours and liaison with the Traffic Social and Content teams.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Being a vital point of contact for the day to day management of clients, the internal smooth running for the divisions for the Social and Content departments and external partners to successfully bring the many projects to completion against a campaign’s KPIs and establishing a meaningful and ongoing relationship with the client contacts.

This includes:

  • Ability to manage the budgets for the campaigns and balance resource hours, external supplier costs and any additional out of scope needs. 
  • Ability to manage team members and liaise with other team across the Traffic business to deliver the campaigns successfully.
  • To ensure all administration around the projects are responsibly documented in order to ensure consistent documentation of the project, its progress and assets.
  • Ensure all campaign milestones are successfully delivered, adhered to and documented to the client and associated departments.
  • Project manage all aspects of the Content delivery
  • Attend and lead client meetings as needed to ensure timely execution of the projects
  • Ensure all Content projects follow in house procedures and internal approval processes, looking to enhance and improve where necessary
  • The ability to communicate effectively and clearly to clients is a mandatory element of this position as well having a keen understanding of financial management and process orientation.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • (Preferably) Bachelor’s or associates degree in Arabic and/or English, or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience in interfacing, communicating with and managing clients on a day to day basis with excellent administrative skills
  • Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other team members when necessary to manage client expectations
  • Ability to manage deliverables within tight deadlines in an extremely fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage tricky situations with client contacts with patience and understanding
  • Outstanding English spoken and written skills, Arabic speaker preferred but not a must if work experience is solid  
  • Confident and assured with good negotiation skills
